Having entered the industry 10 years ago as a medical aesthetician, Laura was drawn towards the clinical aspect which ultimately inspired her to pursue nursing.
Since becoming a Registered Practical Nurse in 2018, she has gained additional certification and extensive training in cosmetic injections and managing complications.
She has worked in well established plastic surgery, medical spas and as an Educator at a private beauty college teaching advanced skincare courses. Laura takes pride in having learned injection techniques from top tier medical professionals.
In the healthcare sector she specializes in Obstetrics and Gynaecology nursing. She comes from Toronto with a diverse healthcare background having worked at a large hospital in the medicine, oncology, plastic surgery and dermatology departments.
Laura is dedicated to decreasing the stigma around cosmetic injections while promoting skin health and self care through aesthetic treatments.
She is a member of CSASN, weRPN and attends annual workshops to maintain skills and learn about the evolving aesthetic world.
When she is not in clinic, you can find her spending time at her family cottage enjoying lake life activities or cozied up with a book. A few other favourites include cheering on her son at his hockey games, doing yoga and many outdoor activities.
